Why am I so tired today. I actually went to sleep before 10 last night. 7 hours of sleep should be enough. All this traveling to and from work makes it too late to nap when I get home. We need naptime at work. Right after lunch.

I have searched high and low and have not been able to find much information on where to pic wildberries. A site that allowed users to make posts and maps of places to pick berries would be nifty. It might be good as place to serch for more than berries. It could in clude any wild fruit, veggies or herbs. I found one guy who lited a couple of locations on a public user google map. The site could even use google maps to display locations. I have no idea if it would work or not.

Work is behind me and I have the whole weekend to look forward too. Saturday isn’t as fun, because you only have one day left to look forward too. Sunday pf course preceed the worst day of all, Monday. Can’t we just work a 4 day work week? Oooo, maybe just a 1 day work week.

I’m going to attempt this blog thing again. I’m sure it’s good for me to write. I’ll try and make myself do this on my long commute home from work.

Bikes. I love hobbies. Most of them are expensive. I’ve become obsessed with road bikes. It’s taken a bit since I got back into bikes to figure out what I like. Growing up, especially in my teen years, everyone had mountain bikes. The funny part was, almost no one rode them on mountains. They spent most of the time on the road. They are not very efficient on the road. When I moved down here from Alaska, I was able to get a bike. I had looked at them a lot up there. I decided to get something more road oriented. I ended up buying a Kona Dew, which is a hybrid. It has the handlebars of a mountain bike, but bigger skinnier wheels like a road bike. As my obsession grew, I learned about fixed gear and simglespeed bikes. You can take an old road bike and strip it down fairly easy. I only had to have one part removed and replaced by a shop. Bottom brackets are just no fun. I am quite happy with my fixed gear now, but I’d like a geared road bike for other occasions. Some hills are a bit challenging without the ability to downshift. Hopefully I can find that perfect bike for the perfect price. I did bring home a $10 SR road bike last night. The problem is, it’s a 52cm and too small for me. I’m going to try and get Stephanie to ride it. It needs cleaning up, but is perfectly functional. Maybe later I’ll post some pics.
